Western Video Market, Inc. was founded in 1989 to help customers sell cattle in an auction format to a national marketplace via the internet and satellite. The company now sells more than 400,000 head of cattle and sheep every year, and is the second largest livestock video auction company in the country.

Marketing your business or product with Western Video Market represents a unique opportunity to reach livestock producers from all segments of the industry. In 2025 WVM marketed approximately 400,000 head of cattle and sheep for more than 850 consignors to buyers throughout the country.
We host a sale approximately every month, and have 13 auctions on our 2026 calendar. All of our sales are broadcast on the internet, and six of those sales are also simulcast on Dish Network. Several of the sales also represent major events for on-site attendance. Our signature event is our auction held the second week of July in Reno, Nev. This multi-day sale attracts approximately 500 attendees per day every year, plus our nationwide audience of viewers on Dish Network and the internet.
