Title:    Audio Visual and Technology Manager

Reports To: Operations Manager

Western Video Market, Inc. is offering a unique opportunity to an individual with a background in information technology (IT) and audio visual (AV) management services in a dynamic auction company.

Duties and Expectations

This is a part to full-time position for someone who has demonstrated information technology and audio visual management skills.  This position reports to the Operations Manager and will help provide strategic recommendations for sale broadcast production, and office IT systems to insure maximum productivity and network security. This position will be responsible for the following functions, including, but not limited to:

  • On-site set-up for live video auction broadcasts.
  • Procuring and managing equipment to support broadcast and office needs.
  • Working collaboratively with long-time broadcast engineer contractor to improve broadcast and on-site video/audio production and quality.
  • Keep Operations Manager abreast of new technology developments that will improve real-time broadcasts and improve office IT functionality.
  • Manage office IT needs with an emphasis on cybersecurity and data integrity in collaboration with an existing contractor.
  • Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager to improve overall efficiencies and productivity.

Minimum Requirements

  • Demonstrated successful experience in broadcast and/or live audio visual set-up.
  • Experience in office IT support and networking.
  • Individual pursuing this position must understand the importance of being a team player in a tight-knit office environment and have good interpersonal skills.
  • Be self-motivated, willing to learn, demonstrate conscientious effort towards one’s work and be focused on customer service.
  • An interest in livestock sales and/or production is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Experience in video editing and production is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Position will require travel to video sale locations.

Training

  • A successful candidate should have demonstrated experience in audio visual and IT support. Training will be provided to familiarize a new team member with existing protocols, but this position is being created to attract additional talent and expertise to a growing company.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation levels will be determined based on experience. A successful candidate will be offered a health, retirement and vacation package.

This position may be structured as a contract or remote position depending on the successful candidate’s skill set and experience. Travel is required, and at minimum a monthly presence is required at company headquarters.

Supervisor

This position will report to the Operations Manager.
