Brief Comment on Cattle:
Extremely fancy set of reputation heifers purchased from one of the leading Angus breeders in the West "Herb Holzapfel". Heifers' paternal sisters being 100% growth fund sired were AI'd on March 1st to SAV Grand Canyon (CED 9, BW EPD .4) and cleaned up for 30 days with Tehama, 9 Peaks, and Bruin Ranch calving ease Angus bulls. Will start calving end of Nov. for 30 days. The opportunity to acquire bred heifers that combine genetics, phenotype and maternal potential like these is few and far between. Heifers are foothill vaccinated. Will be pregged prior to delivery. Head count may vary.
